"Life's Lessons In Shawnee"

The Old Shawnee Days Society is offering a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded to a Shawnee high school junior or senior. Applicants must list your academic and community achievements. In addition, a 500-word essay must be written on the topic “Life’s Lessons in Shawnee – What Growing up in Shawnee has Taught You.”

Fill out the pdf Jr. Pioneer Scholarship Application Form. Applications are also available at area high schools, Shawnee City Hall, Shawnee Chamber of Commerce, Shawnee Civic Centre, and Shawnee Town. Applications must be received by May 15, 2008. The winner will be invited to ride in the parade on Saturday.
